The Executive scorecard equips the board to select and motivate executives. By defining the strategic contributions of key executives, the tool helps the board separate and evaluate the performance expectations of an individual executive from the performance expectations of the enterprise. CEO’s use the tool to align the executive team, hold them accountable and reward them based upon strategic performance. The compensation committee uses the tool to assess individual executive performance and facilitate compensation decisions.
